About Bruges Chocolates
Bruges Chocolates are home made following a fourth generation Bruges
bakery recipe using only the finest Belgian Chocolate.
Raymond Stock, the great-grandfather of the owner, Henk Stock, started a
small bakery just outside of Bruges, Belgium in the beginning of the last century.
It is to this day still a small artisan operation that strives for the best in breads,
pastries and chocolates.
As for chocolates, truffles were the main focus. Over time, his son Jozef and
grandson Luc have developed Raymond's recipe and have come up with some
new flavours and variations.
Henk grew up in Belgium, studied as a chef and then worked in various fine
hotels and restaurants around the world. After getting settled in Cleveland, Ohio
and leaving the restaurant business to spend more time with his family, the idea
came about to continue his families legacy in the same tradition.
Today we continue to strive to bring you the finest Belgian chocolates using only
the best Belgian Chocolate, Callebaut and some of the finest other pastry
ingredients available as French Hazelnut Paste, Starbucks Espresso, etc. We
truly believe that using these fine ingredients make a definite difference in your
taste experience.
We are located in Aurora, Ohio and visit various farmers markets during the
